Net processes like TinyWall, is more complicated than looking at the values reported by the Task Manager. Memory analysis of a process, especially of. What gives?!Īs we mentioned above, the Riot Client is being rolled out to players across the world over a few weeks this fall. Why does TinyWall seem to use a lot of memory? The rollout will run from September 20th through October 4th, and you can get a closer look at the release timeline on the Riot Games website! My friend has the new client, but I don't see any updates. If all goes according to plan, you'll simply log in one day to a shiny new client (including a new Riot Games icon on your desktop) without lifting a finger. Seriously! The client will automatically upgrade as part of our standard updates, so you don't have to lift a finger. Just sit back and relax, and we'll do the rest. I'm sold! How do I get the new Riot Client? As such, it is not part of the default Riot Client. Vanguard, the anti-cheat software for VALORANT, is only added to your computer when you install VALORANT. Is Vanguard included with the Riot Client? The only difference now is logging in once will set you up to play all of our games instead of just one. How much hard drive space does the Riot Client require?Īlmost the same amount of space our other game launchers take today! As we mentioned above, you've already been using a stripped down form of the client whenever you install or launch one of our games. The same is true of downloading individual games! You can go grab a single installer without worrying about extra steps to install the client, as it's already part of all of our titles. Emphasis on "option"-you can still launch all your old games directly from the desktop icon, so if you only play one Riot game, your experience will remain almost unchanged. So you won't have to install anything new, but you will have the option of using the Riot Client as a one-stop shop for all our titles. Really, though-rather than totally new software, this is actually an upgrade to the client you already use to log into Riot games. I don't really play X/Y/Z games-do I have to get the Riot Client?ĭon't you see, TeemoSupremo93? The new client was inside of you all along! You’ll also have the option to use the new Riot Client shortcut as well. Will I be able to use my old desktop shortcuts?Ībsolutely! All your current shortcuts will still bring you straight into the game just like they did before, so you don't have to change a thing. Nope! Each game-specific client will remain unchanged. Ezpz! Will this be replacing the clients for League/VALORANT/TFT/etc? In fact, you've already been using the Riot Client each time you log in to one of our games! The only difference now is you'll be able to enter your login credentials just one time to get the client started, then you can hop between games without additional logins. The Riot Client is a central hub from which you can quickly download/install/play/peruse Riot's PC library. As you might have heard, we're rolling out a new Riot Client to make it easier for you to jump into all of Riot's PC offerings from a single place! Of course, with new software comes new questions, and with new questions, new answers! What is the Riot Client?

Vehicles without engines under the hood, for example, sometimes provide a front trunk (or “frunk”) in that area. A handful of models have major additional storage areas. Different trim levels can result in volume differences due to equipment like spare tires, audio equipment and adjustable floors. We believe all 2020 results shown here are accurate for the 2021 model year. We list the model year and trim level tested below. In the meantime, if you rely on manufacturer-supplied maximum figures, remember that they can be compared only to other manufacturer specs, not the numbers below. This is simply because we haven’t developed a method we believe is reliable and consistent enough to account for the complex shapes involved (but we haven’t given up). We don’t provide a “maximum” cargo volume, often cited as space behind the first row that includes volume when the second row or backseat of any hatchback, SUV or van is folded flat. Many trunks achieve similar ends with a folding backseat. A large item that extends above this plane certainly occupies more space. Conversely, our numbers for anything with a liftgate will seem low compared to what automakers publicize because we measure to the top of the rear seatback (this maintains rear visibility and helps prevent cargo from becoming projectiles in a crash). The manufacturer standard greatly underestimates trunk volume, so ’s numbers are consistently higher. But comparing them to manufacturer-supplied specs isn’t meaningful. We believe ’s volume measurements compare consistently across sedans, coupes, SUVs and anything else with a liftgate, and we think they represent how normal people use their vehicles. Quick Tips for Using the Specifications Belowĭon’t compare and manufacturer specs. But you might also want to check out independent results from editors, who ensure consistency not only from brand to brand, but between enclosed trunks and the open compartments in hatchbacks and SUVs - a puzzling fault in the SAE standard that uses different methodologies for trunks and hatches, yielding results that can’t be compared reliably. Varying interpretations alone are enough to inject error in the results, even if you trust that the individuals who work for one automaker can be unfailingly objective.īy all means, use the specs found elsewhere on our site, or on manufacturer or dealer sites. The automotive industry relies heavily on self-reporting and self-certification, on everything from safety and efficiency assurances to specs like these - based on guidelines from the federal government and standardizing bodies like SAE International. To be clear, these numbers, even when they appear on third-party resources like, are almost without exception manufacturer-supplied. We give far more details in the article linked above, but we’ll emphasize that we undertook this program because we’ve found ordinary cargo specifications to be inconsistent at best and suspect at worst. We’re far from filling out every vehicle class, but we have enough to highlight a few that we’ll call the best until something else unseats them. Now we’ve methodically recorded enough of them to begin sharing the results en masse. ’s editors have made passing references in car reviews and elsewhere that we’d begun our own effort to measure vehicle cargo spaces. What does that look like? Well, when brands use the Braze customer engagement platform in conjunction with behavioral analytics from Amplitude, they’re able to take the engagement data collected by Braze and use Amplitude to dive deep into that data to pull out key insights that can help demonstrate the impact of their efforts and drive more effective campaigns in the future. To make that happen, brands need to have behavioral analytics and customer messaging technologies that can work in tandem to power unique real-time, user-driven customer-lifecycle driven, cross-channel marketing campaigns. In order to effectively speak to consumers across the user lifecycle, marketing, growth, and engagement teams have to be able to understand consumers’ preferences and behaviors in a nuanced way and then use those insights to customize their brand experiences. Analytics + Customer Messaging = Effective Real-Time Lifecycle Engagement Today’s modern customer engagement stack consists of technology systems highly tailored to the individual brand and nuanced customer needs.įor example, a company might take advantage of some or all of the different technologies listed below…Ĭommon components of a customer engagement stackīut while specific marketing stack components will vary, any brand that wants to communicate effectively with their customers in the moment in a way that matches up with each individual user journey needs to invest in two key capabilities: Customer engagement platforms and analytics platforms. Instead, smart brands are leveraging as many specialized offerings as needed to orchestrate their company’s unique approach to marketing and engagement. Gone are the days of finding one vendor or platform that handles everything when it comes to your customer engagement strategy. The Building Blocks of Modern Customer Engagement Stacks To truly power in-the-moment customer engagement, however, there is one thing all customer engagement stack components must have in common: They must be able to speak to each other and share data and insights back and forth-in real-time. One distinct technology may provide behavioral data, one separate system may be responsible for storing the data, and another may generate customer rewards based on the behavioral data, with each serving a distinct, unique purpose. These stacks are built to combine together the best of customer engagement technologies-including data analytics, location and personalization tools, and engagement technologies-to allow brands to power end-to-end customer journeys seamlessly, within one collaborative ecosystem. What Is a Customer Engagement Stack, Anyway?Īt its core, a customer engagement stack is a collection of linked technologies that make it possible for a given company to reach, engage, retain, and monetize their audience. But with the rise of modern customer engagement technology stacks, the process has become more doable and more straightforward for a wide range of brands. And when they make a charitable donation, they expect a thank-you message-not just a general announcement asking them for their support.įor the organizations running things behind the scene, it hasn’t always been easy to create this kind of seamless, personalized customer experience-one that’s responsive to individual behaviors and actions without treating customers like a homogenous group. When they stream a show on their smart TV and then switch to watching on the smartphone in bed, they expect the app to know not just what show they were watching, but where in the specific episode they were…and to be able to pick up right where they left off. They take for granted that when they order a product, they’ll be notified the moment it ships, and receive updates about the package’s expected arrival time, delivery confirmation and special offers to get them to place their next order. Today’s consumers have serious expectations. Make a match-stick model of the Eiffel Tower.Use this distraction to escape the lesson and live free in the wild, at one with nature. Your ship’s sensor get destroyed? Good luck finding your way around the map, because you won’t be able to see relevant points of interest (asteroids, enemy ships), and you’ll have to spray and pray to survive. Get your secondary weapons shot out? You can’t use missiles until you repair that part of your ship. Your individual ship components can be broken as well. There’s visible cracks on your ship’s windshield the more damage you take. They tend to use explosive missiles, which cut into your ship shields pretty quickly. They’re similar to your own ship and know how to navigate the battlefield swiftly. The next step up from that is the “Scout” level of fighter. They’re easy to kill, but can cause significant amounts of damage if left unattended to. You can also lure enemy ships into the minefield as well, satisfyingly taking them out that way.Įnemy ships came in several different varieties, providing different kinds of tactical space combat. You can still reach them, but only after blasting at each individual space-mine first. Sometimes, these containers are in the middle of a minefield. You can sit back and watch the two sides fight each other, scooping up all the dropped loot for yourself afterwards. Basically it comes down to the Outlaws shooting first, causing a fight between different groups. They are naturally hostile to Outlaw faction ships, but neutral towards Alien faction ships under the same sort of agreement that you have. The Terran units are friendly to you, unless you fire upon them. But, most of your loot comes from killing enemy turrets and ships. To gain plasma, you have to steer your ship into the plasma field, and wait for it to collect itself. You can gain fuel, gas, and ores, by mining specific asteroids in a zone. At the end of a sector is a jump gate, that launches your ship to the next sector. You can travel space as fast as you like, but eventually you’ll run out of fuel if you’re not careful. The game only gives you so much fuel though, and that resource can only be picked up across jump point zones. You’re free to leave individual jump points after a few seconds, exploring the map is entirely up to you. Each sector has their own set of different jump points, taking you from the left side of the map over to the right as you progress. The main part of the Everspace game’s Alpha takes you across a series of Space maps, called sectors. The game is highly aware of this, making a note on the start-up screen making sure that fact is known to the player. The Alpha Version I played showed that the game was well on it’s way in terms of gameplay, but they haven’t gotten around to many story specific aspects of it just yet. It advertises as a single-player 3D space shooter with rogue-like elements and non-linear storytelling. Asking for €225,000, the team managed to raise a total of €420,252 by the end of their campaign. The EVERSPACE project launched back in August 2015 on Kickstarter. If you are planning to leave the container outdoors all year, choose a weather-resistant container, and make sure the drainage holes allow for fast drainage. Little bluestem cultivars are particularly well-suited to growing in containers because of their small size and attractive color. Use a pair of sharp, sterilized pruning shears to cut the stems to a few inches above the ground. In early spring, cut this grass back hard before new growth starts. Leave the seedheads and spent foliage in place to feed and shelter wildlife over the winter. Pruning Plant Bluestem Grassīoth big and little bluestems will die back and go dormant over the winter. Alternatively, try topdressing the root zone with organic compost each spring to improve your soil content. Use a light application as too much nitrogen can cause grasses to flop. Choose a formula with a 10-10-10 balanced N-P-K ratio. If a soil test shows that your soil is deficient in nitrogen, you can apply a slow-release, general-purpose fertilizer in the spring. Fertilizing Bluestem Grassīluestem grasses grow well in poor soils and do not need to be fertilized. This is usually once or twice a week in the summer. Grasses grown in pots dry out more frequently than those in the ground and should be watered when the soil feels dry to the touch. Even established plants should be watered weekly during hot, dry spells to keep these grasses looking fresh. During the first two growing seasons, water this grass regularly to establish a strong root system. Once established, it will only need occasional supplemental water in the summer. It tends to go dormant without moisture, so the best appearance is preserved with weekly watering, especially those plants in containers.įountain grass is considered drought tolerant. The plant needs supplemental water in early establishment stages, but thereafter is quite self-sufficient except in severe drought. Water new plants regularly over the summer to establish drought tolerance. Add a layer of organic compost around the root zone to conserve moisture. Backfill the hole with native soil and water thoroughly to fill in any air gaps around the roots. Set the crowns slightly above the soil surface to prevent crown rot. Find a sunny location with well-draining soil, and dig a hole just wide enough for the root ball. They do not tolerate standing water or very alkaline soils. They adapt to various soil conditions, including dry, poor, clay, gritty, sandy, and average soils. These grasses create beautiful waves of color and movement when planted in drifts for a meadow or prairie garden.īluestem grasses perform best in full sun, with at least 6 – 8 hours of direct sunlight per day, although big bluestem can tolerate partial shade. Various cultivars with outstanding color and hardiness qualities are now commonly available in garden centers. These are warm-season grasses that do most of their growing during the warm summer months and go dormant in late fall to winter. They form arching, upright clumps that flower in the summer. Otherwise, the two species have very similar cultural requirements and are easy to grow.īluestem grasses are native prairie grasses that are often used for erosion control and restoration plantings. Big bluestem varieties can reach 8 feet high and spread by rhizomes. As the name implies, little bluestem is much smaller than big bluestem and only reaches between 1 and 3 feet high. In the nursery trade, bluestem grasses consist mostly of little bluestem ( Schizachyrium scoparium ) and big bluestem ( Andropogon gerardii ).
